Destination Gstaad

From the Saanenland and for the Saanenland: The destination Gstaad is close to our hearts. Today, the Gstaad brand stands worldwide for chic charm and discreet luxury with understatement. But despite style and class: Gstaad has remained truly alpine and down-to-earth. We love it!

Juga Saanenland

The youth work Saanenland is committed to the young people in the region. Among other things, she organizes the youth club as well as various activities.

Andres Gerber

SR GmbH supports Andres Gerber, who is a great personality in the sports world. Stations of his career were: FC Belp, Young Boys Bern (YB for short), FC Lausanne-Sport and Grasshopper Zurich. In 2003 he moved to FC Thun and from 2002 to 2008 the midfielder played in the highest Swiss league: the Super League and also two games in the Champions League. In 2009/10 Andreas Gerber retired from active professional football and is currently employed as sports director & president at FC Thun – Berner Oberland.

The Gstaad Alive is initiated by barproject to expand the variety of offers in the Gstaad-Saanenland. You can only support something like that!

FC Thun

Saanenland entrepreneurs show solidarity with FC Thun. They launched the table “Friends of FC Thun from the Saanenland” in the VIP lounge of the Stockhorn Arena and thus support the financially struggling Oberland football club.

The “Station Saanen” project aims to create a new experience – a weather-independent year-round offer and a cross-generational attraction.

Bowls Club Gstaad

Bowls is said to be the oldest of all games. The first bowls artifacts date back to Egypt around 5,000 B.C. The oldest existing bowls green (playing field) is from 1299 in Southampton.

WG Mixer

The non-profit association “WG Mischer” offers young people in training from abroad a stable and affordable living situation so that they can concentrate on their vocational or school education in Saanenland and their personal development.
